I' ve bought a ASUS K-7V VIA KX133 chipset with audio on board

But when the System try to detect and activate VIA PCI Audio controller(WDM), it will come out blue screen with the following error

Fatal Exception at 0028:FF0707F2 in Vxd wdmaud( 01) + 00000732

and it will hang there. After reboot it will prompt windows protection error, internal stack overflow

when go to safe mode after reseting , it will have MMtask illegal operation at module MSAUD32.ACM

Sounds like the driver is barfing. This is during start-up, when the Plug 'n Play stuff detects new hardware and tries to set it up? If that's so, I'm not sure how you get around it. Maybe the board is defective?

Most folks hetre would probably recommend that you disable the device in the BIOS and put in a better soundcard, so you might want to consider that.
