Hey guyz...
I have a Equitek E-200 Condenser mic. Ive had it for close to 10 years. Well about 5-6 years ago I had a mishap with it and somehow I knicked the polar pattern switch right off. Its been so long that I dont even remember doing it. So I opened it up and it just looks like some little switch. I would just swap it for one of the other switches so I could use the pattern function at the cost of one of the other functions. But they are all 2 way switches and the pattern switch is a 3 way switch.
So I guess my question is...Where can I get a spare switch to solder in? I know if I had the part I could swap them out. I just have NO idea where to get one or if I even can. So does anyone have a hook up?

Probably a single- or double-pole, triple-throw switch, but it could be a double-throw with a center off. Count the number of pins in the back, and if it is triple-throw:

Just Google or whatever for "SPTT switch" or "DPTT switch" for other possibilities.

I dunno if you call it a single pole or what. i do know that there are 3 pins coming out of the back of it that get soldered into the circuit board. Its 3 position switch with the left being figure 8. The middle being a circle with a dimple in the front center and the right being a complete circle. Ill have to get a camera tomorrow from my old man and take a pic cause it doesnt look like that pic in the link you gave...

If there are only three pins, then it is probably single pole, double throw, center off.

Have you contacted CAD? They might have some lying around.

Yeah asking CAD is a good idea.

Can't really advise on the terminals etc. without seeing at least a pic, but I think you need something like "A19K1B-DA-RO" at mouser.com. That has six terminals, though.

Honestly,
You can do what you want, but when I had a switch go out on my E-100 I sent it to CAD and they fixed it and sent it back for like $35.

I'd give them a call, if you want to fix it yourself they will probably ship you the part for free.

Well I contacted CAD. A guy there, Ryan was super nice. He told me that they DO NOT have any of those switches around to order but did send me the schematics for it.
It appears that I need a G13AH DP3T
I found one online but it is a SPDT...So I called them (digi-key) and the rep told me that the SPDT means that the center position is off. He also told me that it probably wont work for what I needed but he wasnt 100% sure.
I am having a hard time finding the exact switch that they list. Does anyone know if the SPDT will work? I would love to be able to use all 3 positions if Im gonna go thru the trouble to fix it...

DP3T means double-pole triple throw. That's the same as DPTT, e.g. the one in the link I sent you. Such a switch should have eight pins, two of which are the inputs, each of which gets connected to one of the three contacts, depending on which of the three positions the switch is in.

That said, the G13AH is not a DPTT part. It's SPDT, with three pins (which is consistent with the picture in the PDF you sent, but not with the text in the PDF). Saying G13AH and DP3T/DPTT is presenting two very contradictory pieces of information for the same part. I'm not sure this can be resolved without seeing the switch.

Can you take a picture of the defective switch?

Well here are a couple of shots of the switch. You can tell which one it is. And f it was just a 2 setting switch like all the other switches next to it I'd just canabalise one next to it and lose the roll off function or something...
