Equipment setup help please

I would really appreciate some insight on setting up some gear. I want to do some recording - please tell be the best setup for the following equipment:

Roland Fantom X8
Digi001
Pair of monitors
Roland Varios
Microphone
Apple Computer with protools
TASCAM US-144

So far all I have done is play but I would really like to do some recording with me playing the FANTOM and singing while I play. I suppose I could do each separately and may do that to get the best end product but I just want to record and playback my work to get better. Right now all I do is play. Also - do I need anything else? Thanks to all in advance for responding.

I'd say you need to start....

Does your ProTools talk to your Tascam interface? I've heard PT can be picky about who it plays with....

You'll get (rule of thumb) better results if you track separately, but this is less of an issue with keyboards as they don't intrinsically make any noise.
