Equalization voiceovers with q 10

hello people , my english is not very good...but i try :D i work in portuguese radio station , the programms i use is Sound forge 7.0 ,Samplitude 7 , nuendo sx e cubase sx. The plugins... waves diamond , waves platinium ,ultrafunk ,etc....I need details about configurations in a q 10 for a great sound of vocals....i have a great compression with a rc compressor , finalise with l1 ou with a psp vintagewarmer but the equalization i dont have a great sound , help me!

well first of all the q10 is overkill... that's just too many fruequency bands to play with.. just try and do more subtle eq'ing....
a common mistake for eqing.. is to always boost frequencies.. in my opinion, eq's should be used to take away and frequencies that are bothersome/ shouldn't be there


oh and you should't be useing 3 different compressors in series like that.. you're going to get some SERIOUS PUMPING going on.. just use the vintage warmer.. it's FAR supperior to anything that waves makes...
