Any recommendations for a good solid two channel 31 band EQ unit that won't break the bank?

Do you really want a graphic EQ unit as opposed to a parametric unit?
 
Not sure, I just need to equalize some guitar tracks prior to sending to my DAW.
 
Why not just EQ it after the fact and save yourself some cash. Your DAW should have something that you can work with. No need to spend money on something you probably don't need right?
 
I certainly don't want to spend money I don't need to. I'm recording into garage band and I don't think you can EQ something once it's there. You can add effects and change the gain, but I don't think you can EQ.
