What is a Parametric[ is that how you spell it?]Equalizer? How does it differ from a Graphic Equalizer? Is it easier to use than A Graphic Equalizer? If so, what softwares have it, because I suck with a Graphic EQ.

parametrics let you choose the frequencies you want to change, I think. Graphic is when you have set frequecies that you can alter.

If I told you once...

The answer plus some is included in my response in the thread "Sweeping Out The EQ Freak" located just a few threads below this one in this forum. Read.

Every audio editor software app I have seen comes with at least one type of parametric EQ.

Graphic EQs have set frequency's to adjust as well as a set Q for each frequency. Parametric EQs allow you to select the exact frequency to adjust as well as the Q for that frequency. Parametrics are much more useful in the studio. If you don't know what Q is, search here or use Google. Or buy a beginner's book on recording/audio. It will be very helpful in explaining many of these basic concepts.
