One of the primary advantages of using Reason is the back of the rack. The ability to switch cables and control signal path and all that.

Well, I've been struggling (until I get Jimmy's recommended Big Knob) with hearing mixes on the Rokits, cause the M-audio's won't shut up. I've got the M3's on the mains and they push a good load of spl at your ears. The rokits, meh, not so much. So even cranked on the rokits, and 4 stops above OFF on the M3's leaves me not hearing what I want. I need a way to shut off the M3's and leave on the 5's without having to get behind the desk and mess with volumes I don't want to recalibrate later. Anyone see where this is going?

Turned the rack around this morning and looked at the wiring. M3's in 1/2 of the US1800, 5s in 3/4. Main output sent to 1/2, control out sent to 3/4.
There is a separate volume for the control out...SWAP THE CABLES...
HEY! Now I can turn the volume DOWN on the M3s!!!!

"And there was great rejoicing" :laughings:
Sometimes it's good to laugh at yourself when you've been frustrated with a situation that should have been obvious. Thought I'd share this one.

I think I missed something here... what does Epiphone has to do with it?

Leave it to me to spell Epiphany like the guitar mfg instead of correctly!

I get to laugh at me AGAIN! Hah!
