I've heard the powerballs are pretty good. Not heard about the tubetoner.

Tubetoner E430 isn't an amp, its more like a tube-pre...
A 2 or 4 channeled floor gimmick... with gain and other basic knobs...

So, I bought it, it's in the mail.

two 12ax7 tubes, four voicings, works allso as a midi-switch. Some made in Germany, since discontinued, practically e530 pre as a stompbox, (said someone) includes a 1.5W solidstate amp for connecting a 4-16ohm speaker directly.

So, I'll have the Tubetoner, H&K Tubeman, and VOX Tonelab... Might A-B them when timetable allows..
