Emulating analog tracking to Tape

seems like there were so many drawbacks to 'analog' sound,
i'm surprised so many want to fake their pristine digital to sound analog again.

I'm not starting any analog vs digital debate but I have to disagree;I don't think there was/is any drawback to the "analog sound". I would agree that using a razor blade is far less convenient than cut and paste.

I think (I could be wrong) that Gonzo-x was being facetious and pointing out the irony that digital diehards would want to emulate analog.
