I just set up the turbo phatt and am stiil on the learning curve. I 've been through most of the manual and even though i'm fuzzy on the patch cords, I found that the TP isn't responding to some of the real-time controllers on the RM1x (Yam) sequencer that I'm using. All is set up correctly on the RM and the parameters work on the RM output. But it is the Filter Cutoff, resonance, EG delay, Variation, chrous, and reverb do not affect the TP sounds. The other parameters (Beat Stretch, octave, harmonizers, pitch Bend, etc. ),all work. Any one familar with this set up and can help me out?

that is because they use different controllers for different things. check your e-mu manual to see what controllers are used for those actions and then find those controllers on the rm1x... if you've allready done this, then you'd need to check your manual again to find out how to enable all incoming controller data..

Thanks for your input. I found the CC #'s for the effects in the RM, I changed the number in the realtime controller section, and patched it in the patch cord section, but it doesn't pull the same effect. ie: the Cut off filter makes a sound change but it's definitely not the cut off filter. I assume the 5th knob would equal Midi E controller??? Not too worried about it though, there are plenty of other ways to skin the cat. Thanks again.

some devices name their controllers from 0-127 while others name them from 1-128... which can be a bit annoying.. this is the case of my old sequencer vs my supernova.. after getting cubase that was no longer the issue..

so if it says controller 67 or so, it might be 68 or 66 on the rm1x... try that out..
