Emu 1212m or Delta 1010LT?

I have here three condenser mics (with a Tube MP Project Series for each), one SM57, and I record them using a Emu 1212m in tandem with a Emu 0404USB. This system works, but it's a tad messy, and it's frustratingly limited by the fact that the 1212m (the master card) has only two analogue inputs and two analogue outputs. It's physically possible for me to record from only 4 sources using this combo, and I have to use a wiring hack to connect headphones and an amp to the card.

What I'd like to do would be to sell the 1212m and the 0404usb, and spend the money on a 1010LT, plus perhaps an extra Tube MP and a Naiant mic. It'd be more convenient, certainly, but, what for the downsides? The 1212m has only two inputs, but they're both balanced, and reportedly have a SnR of 120dB, some 20dB greater than that of the 1010LT. Will there be a drop in recording quality by buying the 1010LT? And, if anyone has one, are its Vista 64 drivers up to spec?

Also, have any companies gotten around to announcing or launching PCI-E audio interfaces yet? I like my latencies low, me.

Cheers.

I use a delta 1010LT and a Delta 44 together and it works pretty well, The cable routeing is a bit messy but I can record 12 analogue Tracks at the same time with pretty good quality , You need a seperate mic preamp for every input you want to use at the same time but luckilly I have about 12 ch of standalone preamps.....

I was able to get my Delta 1010LT used for about $130 on e-bay and is pretty reliable...I don"t have anything else to compare it to but it sounds good to me and I notice 0 latency with ASIO drivers.....

I think there are Drivers for the Delta and Vista but I don"t know how reliable they are....

Cheers
