i just got a emu 1212m and from what i hear so far, its not better then my sound blaster audigy 2 platinum BUT im thinkin i just gotta learn the card and how to set it. ANyways! havin a problem with Voice get to the card from my voicemaster pro. It seems i have to turn it up loud on the preamp for my voice to come out on the card, BUT when i plug the headphones into my preamp, MY voice is WAY loud and alittle distorted. It shouldn't be like that. Does anyone know if i have to set the emu 1212m to a certain setting for the preamp so the sound will come out normal when the volume is normal on the preamp.
