EMU 0404 trouble

I have had this card for a while, and every once in a while it just refuses to play any audio from windows. Usually it is after a reboot but not always. I have tried changing the inputs outputs and every thing i can possibly think of, but there meter in the WAVE strip is lifeless. PLEASE HELP!!!

NOTE: I inserted a test tone into that strip and the sound plays

I have an 0404 and have zero problems with it. Plays what ever and when ever needed. Downright blows my old SB Audigy 2 away. I am not sure what is causing your card to do that. How long have you had it? Has it always had this problem?
