EMU 0404 midi

Hi perry here i need help on midi.
i got EMU 0404 and installed on PIII 1GHz PC winXP Pro installed with RAM 256.
1. i conected midi out of My Roland XP-60 Keyboard to Midi in of EMU 0404.
2. Local Off in XP-60.
3.opened new project in CUBASE LE BUNDLED WITH EMU 0404 and added midi track and routed to inbuilt vstI Plugin .
4. midi in set to all midi in type
5. midi out set to VSTi plugin.But no sound comes out from speakers.But Audio is working fine with local on at XP-60.
is there any other hidden setting .
PLEASE HELP ME .Waiting for response.
