Ive been getting two warning messages recently, the first comes up a couple seconds after i first press record, then it never comes back until i use Logic later. It says "Unity engine is not running, unity via rewie is disabled." The second has been coming up repeatedly when i open anything, it says "ASIO: System Overload. The audio engine was not able to process all required data in time. (-10011)" WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG?

Whats your OS, Comp hardware and all audio cards?

It could be a number of things but the second warning could be slow hardware. The first sounds like a sound card driver issue, maybe.

I got that error message for 6 months and I just could not ever figure out what it was. I had the Delta 66 sound card running on LAP. I fucking did everything there was to do to fix that problem and then it turned out to be one little setting on my sound card. The latency was set to high so the audio engine was having to work too hard. I just set it so that it was as high as possible rather than as low as possible and then the problem went away. After 16 tracks or so with Reverb on most of them... the ASIO overload comes back... but that is just because my PC is shit and I need to upgrade the RAM and HDD. Try to fuck around with the sound card settings in the control pannel.

Otherwise take screenshots of your setting in the Audio Settings and Sound Card control pannell. This will let us SEE what you might be doing wrong. Don't freak at any rate, it is probably something very small.

Set hardware acceleration to None in the display properties.. hardware acceleration will cause this error even with the cpu not bottomed out.

So i just need to set my latency a little lower? What's the display properties box?
