I just recently got a delta sound card and it came bundled with Emagic's Logic Delta. I need help with this. I use only audio tracks, no midi, and I can't figure out how to record enable the tracks. Now, to clarify, I DO have the manual but it doesn't seem to match the software. It says there should be a button with an "R" beside each audio track that enables recording...there isn't an "R". It says you can also go to the mix section and record enable there...Unfortunately, NONE of the audio tracks are visible in the mix screen so obviously I can't enable them there. Am I missing something?? How does this work? I have been using ProTools free so I have some knowledge of these things but I just can't figure this out. Thanks.

press ctrl-m to take you to the mixer window, or choose it from the drop-down menu.

You will see a mixer. At the bottom of the screen, click on the R button to record enable the track

Ok,
if no audio track is visible in the mix window, then maybe you have not selected a wave driver.

Select asio and restart.

Normally, Logic delta should have 8 audio tracks when you start up.

If it does not, then you have to go to the drop-down menu and choose "create new track" make it an audio track.

problem solved?

Well, I think I have figured out this problem. Apparently it wasn't picking up the ASIO drivers. Once i got that resolved, the record buttons magically appeared. I did have to remove the check from "Software Monitoring". Leaving it checked made the sound going thru sound real fuzzy. Hope that doesn't cause problems down the road.
