Electroharmonix Ribbon mic

I was doing my usual browse through 8th street audio and ran into this

Electroharmonix ribbon mic

It looks like the Oktava ml-52. Anyone seen these or played with them? Are they an update/improvement over the Oktava of last year?

Yeah, it does look like the Oktava, and I really did not like my old Oktava. EH has ties to Russia (or at least they did in the past) so it may make sense that this is kind of a rebadged ML52. If so, stay away!!

From what I've heard on the TapeOp board, the Pacific Pro Audio/Nady/T-bone ribbons are the best of the new crop of bargain ribbons. Haven't used any ribbon other than the aforementioned Oktava, and I personally thought it sucked!

I love all EH products. I have 2 pedals and have heard alot more, and I love all of them. Ofcourse, totally not the same thing as a ribbon mic, but reputation wise, I'd say look out of this one.
