Looking at the yamaha p70 or the more expensive version. Not sure which one to get, is the more expensive version worth the extra 400 dollars?

Thanks
Dave

Yo DAS:

You can call some major vendors and "price" both units. You might find one vendor might give you free shipping and a price of the "better" Yam that is the same as the "lesser" model.

Or, you could go to a major vendor's store and try each model.

I think if you call the 800 numbers, you might get a deal as vendors are dealing.

Try Google too and specify the models you are comparing.

When you get to the end of researching, call Full Compass and get a price on the model you want. Or, any other of the major dealers.

Good luck.
I know you'll enjoy the keyboard because both of my Yams have been winners.

Green Hornet  : PS: I don't know why the word, "keyboard" went to an accessible site like Ebay--not my doing.

If you are willing to go up to $900 you might want to check out the Korg
SP-250 I feel it has more nature piano sounds. Plus it has a nice
sound system with bass reflex built in for at home use. I tried out the lower
end Yamaha's and didn't really like them that much. You would have to pay over $1400 for one that would compare to the Korg.
