3rd vote for GHS boomers. I had D'adarios on my electrics and they were just way too twangy. I switched them to boomers several months ago and still haven't had to change the strings.e-man said:a second vote for boomers.
ghs makes good stuff, been using them for years now.
if the store is out, d'adario's hold up good too.

I agree with allot that was posted here. I always wipe down the strings and fret board after I play,even if it's only for 30 seconds.
I vacuum pack my strings after I purchase them. Since I live in Florida, you kind of have to. But when I did not vacuum pack them, I did notice a wear to the strings before I even put them on. I could not tell if it was a slight rust or oxidation.
I will add my $02. on string recommendations after you tell us what guitar you are using.
