electra

i bought an electra guitar. its black (actually an exact copy of a les paul custom) ...one exception...it has a cutaway at the top of the body, and has a bolt on neck. I had a les paul custom and have played several les pauls and this guitar has the wieght and the feel of the real thing (actually it plays and sounds better than my old les paul custom) can anyone tell me how to find out what the modal and year this guitar is?

i kind of feel silly talking about how good this electra guitar is ...considering I had a bad experiance with an electra in the late 70's and have bashed them ever since....but this guitar blew me away. So....i take back all i said about electra guitars being crap....guess you can get a lemon in anything.

I remember reading a story about an electra back in the early 80's. Leslie West of Mountain was at that time teaching guitar and he used them and just raved about it. I have never seen one though
