Hey folks - here's my minty EHX Soul Preacher compressor, with original box/packing, for 20 percent off the new price. It has been on my workaday board for over a year - even spent the 11 months in Iraq with me.
So how can I call it "minty" - because it's ALWAYS on. The switch has probably been activated less than 10 times. The pots are just as smooth and silky as it was when it was new as well. I baby my gear...the only time this gets picked up is when I open it up to make sure there's no dust or anything in it using a small bit of compressed air. Typically I move/touch my pedals with a microfiber cloth in my hand - so that should give you an idea of how my stuff gets "used".
This is a GREAT guitar compressor - Dan does a super video demo of it over on the EHX website (which explains all the settings much better than I could do on a post like this). The only reason I'm selling it is that I got a great deal on a second Demeter Compulator, and I am really hunting a BJFE Pine Green Compressor - my taste in compression runs to very light/sweetening of the tone. While this pedal can do that well, I'm sold on strictly optical compression (for me) so this is going on the block to help fund the BJFE purchase (once I find one).
