Picked one of these up today and will put it through it's paces tonight.

Congrats! Look forward to hearing your review.

I'll be looking forward to your thoughts too, SC. I've been really impressed by the few clips I've heard, and on paper it looks pretty sweet.

Okay. We ran this head through a Fender closed-back 4x12 with greenbacks, and a Motionsound 1 x 12. I played an ash Telecaster, a Gibson SG with classic 57s, and a Rickenbacker 360-12 through it.

At high gain settings, this amp is louder than my 40w Supersonic. I am a very loud drummer, and this amp can drown me at high gain settings. Amazing.

It has gain for miles. You can do metal with this amp.

Cleans are very nice, but you can't really stay sparkly clean with the gain past 9:00 - and the master all the way open, full 20 watts. The amp is too quiet to play very clean tones at volume. For recording cleans this amp is awesome.

This amp can do AC30, and the practical similarity between the "bright" switch and the "top boost" on an AC30 is noteworthy. I was able to coax some Orangey and some Marshally tones out of it as well. At times it also made me think of the Lone Star and Stilletto amps from Mesa.

The distortion sounds best with the master all the way open.

Extremely versatile amp for any money.
