EFX loop and Input questions for the experts

Hi,
im gonna explain this the best I can and would apreciate any help I could get.ill give you the basic question,a list of my effecst and then Ill explain in more detail what Im talkin about,

I wanna hook up about 8 effects in either the EFX loop or input and about 2 in the other,

in no particular order..................................
PSM2 - powers 7 effects
Chorus
Delay and reverb
Flanger
Phitch-shifter and delay
Wah
Octave
Tremolo
volume pedal

Distortion
EQ
..................................................................

I was wondering if i could hook the the first 8 in the EFX loop or input jacks and then the EQ and distortion to the other,

I want to do this so i can hit the PSM1 to kill all the effects and go in to distortion. so i dont have to tap dance to turn off 3 effects and hit distortion at the same time.

but will the EQ still color the other effects and what about distortion on the other effects? will it still sound rich?

what other options do i have.

if all else fails ill just run them all in the same chain and learn to
dance

There is no definate answer. Just try it and see what works. You wont hurt anything as long as you dont try using a powered output.
