Effex pedal/box help/recommendation

I am looking for an effect that drops the lead gits
string keys an OCTAVE lower.
I own a Zoom 505 and has an effect similar to that but has distortion. Checked out the Boss but it sounds too much like
lower octave sub-harmonics.
Need to make the lead git's low E string sound like a bass's
E string,or as close to it as possible.
As always,n-e and all help is greatly appreciated.
 
MisterQCue, Zoom 505 has editable patches, where you can combine effects (all of them are editable). It has pitch shift effect as well as distortion and other effects. They're probably combined in the one patch, but you can take any patch and edit it to have just the right effects - use "acoustic" distortion for clean sound or just keep any one of them on 1, then play with the shifter to get the octave, then add chorus, verb, etc. to taste. You'll have to consult the manual to find out exactly how to do that.
 
Hey man thanks! I have yet tried to do any editing.
I basically used the preset patterns (ex. A1 thru F5)
But I will try and edit tonite.

you'll find it useful. i even miked a snare drum with it - compression, chorus & verb, just the right things! sounded really well.
