Effects to part of track

Is it possible in cubase LE to add a plug-in to only part of an audio track instead of the whole channel?

You could put the desired effect on a channel insert and just automate it so it is bypassed when you do not want to have it running. Another solution is right click the track you want and duplicate it. Edit the original one so the remaining parts are the ones you do not want effected, and do the opposite on the duplicate track. Then just put the effect on the duplicate track.
