What effects do you need, specifically? I'll recommend Waves either way, but I'd still like to know.

all of them if possible

In that case, the Waves Platinum Bundle will keep you busy for a while. It's a pretty comprehensive set.

p.s. I used to want them all too, but then I realized that a lot of them suck.

He said for a while... actualy, for a year :D Waves is God of plugins !!! Just like malcore pop, I used to love having alot of plugin on my list, but most of them are only filled the space... Then I'm not using them anymore. Only few worth were being upgraded and continued stay in my system.
AIPL, Anwida Freeverb, Antares MicModeler and Autotune, Cakewalk FX, DSound Simple Pack, PSP (the old ones), Sonic Foundry (the old ones), TC Electronic 2, Timeworks (SONAR), and Waves 3.5. ReValver shown in DXi section.

I personally really like the Skidder from DestroyFX (if you have a wrapper). :)
