Effect of wall vent with baffle

I'm thinking about installing some wall vents in my home office to improve the ventilation. If I do, I'll install a baffle in the vents to block some sound from the next room. What is the potential impact of one or two wall vents on the noise level coming from the next room over?

I have hollow core doors now. If I get solid core doors, along with weatherstripping and a door sweep, would installing vents result in a higher or lower net noise level when compared to the sound coming through/under the hollow core doors?

Size. length, positioning and baffling used all would have an impact, no one can answer your question effectively with so many variables.
