Signal Generator - I'm new to recording have pro-tools LE 6.7 I'm trying to send the 1Khz signal to a track so i can mess about chop it up and edit the sound, but can't figure out how to do this? Any ideas? Thanks
 
Hi there.
You're very much in the wrong sub forum, and PT 6.7 is quite old so my advice might be a little off.

None the less, in modern Protools at least, you create an instrument track and an audio track.

On the instrument track, insert 'signal generator'.

Set the track output to 'bus 1+2'.

On the audio track, set the inputs to 'bus 1+2'

Arm the audio track for recording, and hit master record.

That should be it.
