I remember using the DXi synth plugin EDIROL VSC in Sonar 2.2xl, but now it's not in my list of DXi synth plug-in's at all? even if I right click FX in a audio track where I use to find it or from the tool bar. It's like the option has totally disapeared even after uninstalling Sonar and reinstalling it.
It also dont show up as an option in my DXi rack anymore.
Anyone else have their DXi plug-ins disapear?
Im running Win98 with a SB-PCI128 card...
Thanks for any help

Moskus, I think Fretstick has Sonar 3 installed and has uninstalled Sonar 2 (then reinstalled it). Myself, I cannot get the plug in manager to work with Sonar 3 it just says that S2 is not installed, I dont think it works with s3 alone!!! Or is this just me? Perhaps S2 needs to be installed for it to work.

Have you tried Insert -> DXI ?

I didn't think it appeard under the fx field in a track, you need to insert it into the program and assign MIDI channels to it.

Well I can find it with a directx plug-in manager, but it still isn't on my list of options in the insert DXI menu. It was there a week ago and if I open an old project I can see it on the midi track I used it on, but for some reason it is not available in my DXI rack anymore.

I have Directx 9 installed I wonder if something got goofy after I nuked a Ntracks demo? shouldn't matter if I un-installed Sonar and re-installed it though.

It should work this way too. This is the way Sonar 1 handled DXis.

You say you see it in the PlugIn Manager. Is that under Hidden or Avaiable effects?

Im using a AnalogX plug-in called Xman and it shows up on the available list of DXi's under that program. But there is no way to import it into Sonar.
Does Sonar have a DXi detection bug?
