I got an edirol ua1-d soundcard which worked fine with my old powerbook. I used it for transferring from DAT (44.1) to computer (44.1).
I'm now using a new ibook. Logic Pro and ALL of the other music programmes I've tried won't accept the edirol at 44.1. NOT allowed! The computer will only accept 48. Why? There was no problem with the powerbook??!!! Is there a way around this, apart from buying another device? I'm not a rich person after buying the ibook!
