Edirol PCR-50 to Pro Tools LE

For the life of me I consider myself pretty smart. I can build amplifiers, play a little guitar blah blah blah...BUT....I can't configure my controller to work in Pro-Tools? Of course, in the manual it says NOTHING about how to make it work. It just says "if you use pro-tools, you should use H-compatible memory." From there....what else do I need to do? Any help would be great, I'm ready to turn this controller into lawn furniture! LOL!
