Edirol opinions? :::

anyone have any information/reviews/opinions about the following two products:

Edirol DA-2496 [audio interface]
Edirol UM-880 [midi interface]

any other comparable interfaces? i'll be using Digital Performer.....

what else have you looked at? I haven't heard too much about the edirol audio interface...however, i will check it out.

i'm looking @ the motu timepiece av [midi] and the motu 896 or 828 [audio]...........

i'm just curious about the edirols, just becasue they look nice & i haven't really heard much word about them.........?
