Ok Ok, dont laugh.

I am on a budget and I am looking to get some monitors for home recording use. I have been taking a look at these Edirol MA-10D with the digital input. Do any of you guys use these and what do you think of them?? Now remember, I have been mixing using some Altec-Lansing computer speakers so...I am in NEED of some monitors. HELP!!!

Dont know how they perform, but they certainly look cool.

Hey Elvis

I own a pair of MA-10a. Not the MA-10d. These are the same monitors, without the digital input.

In fact, these are my "shit boxes". But you know what? They are interesting. The stereo image is impressive for that kind of monitors! And, yes they help getting good mixes. They let me know if I abuse of the bass quality of my BlueSky's, because the BlueSky 12" Subwoofer is so precise that I actually enjoy boosting the 40 to 80hz. Too much :)

huge 60hz in the MA-10? ouch...no way. And they sound like almost the consumer speakers, so they are very useful.

Hep I just saw the MA-20D! These may be a good choice for you dont you think?
