Just becuase I NEED to give someone hell, I was about to give YOU hell for not reading about 3 posts down for 1,000 places that have it. But then I saw you have one post, so I guess I'll move along. Maybe Gidge feels like arguing....

and im looking at 8th street and they have an ECM8000 overhead live package with 2 mics, boom mic stands, and cables...i dont remember them having this before Harvey started recommending them here for overheads...was i just overlooking it?......

Hah, nope Gidge they didn't. In fact, I talked to one of the guys who works there about the ECM8000 around the time harvey recommended them, and he had no idea why these microphones were suddenly selling out so quickly. I'm guessing that several members from the BBS mentioned harvey's comparison to the Audix mic and using them as overheads (myself included)...and voila, an ECM8000 overhead package

those guys (8th Street)know how to do it....throw in cheap ass mic cords and stands and jack up the sale....the least they could have done was call it the Harvey Gerst Overhead Mic Package......
