I NEED HELP...
I AM PLANNING ON BUYING AN ECHO MIA SOUND CARD IN LIKE A WEEK AND NEED 2 GET A FEW THINGS STRAIGHTENED OUT
1) CAN I USE IT WITH SOUND FORGE AND CAKEWALK PRO AUDIO 9
2) CAN I RUN HEADPHONES DIRECTLY FROM THE 2 OUTPUTS??

PLEASE HELP ME

It will work with any audio app - remember tho that it is audio-only, no MIDI synth on the board (I run a Mia and an SBLive in my PC together; the Mia does all the audio and the SBLive takes care of all the MIDI.)

You will need an amplifier for the outputs (just like any pro-audio soundcard it puts out a line-level signal.) You can run a cable to your home stereo line-in if you're just getting started and don't want to spend a lot on a monitor system.

By the way, the CAPS LOCK key is just above the shift key; no need to shout.

more help

i have a realistic 4 channel stereo microphone mixer
could i go from the outputs on my mia to inputs on the mixer then from the outputs on the mixer to headphones??

help me please

If the mixer has a headphone amplifier then yes, otherwise no.

Run a cable to a boombox or stereo with an aux-in plug.

You'll want to record your tracks using headphones but you'll need something with speakers to mix your tracks on anyway... headphones cause sound to be interpreted differently by your brain and your mixes should be done with speakers, not headphones.

mixer

how would i know if it has a headphone amplifer???
(iv attached a pic of my mixer)

please help me
