This one is about a little old lady whose husband bought the recorder ten years ago but couldn't figure out to use it. Do you think she carried the TSR-8 in herself?

Seems like these TSR-8s are literally dropping out of the sky these days. A couple months ago there were some listed as belonging to pastors and churches. I didn't realize so many priests, pastors and old ladies had them just lying around.

Makes me want to send inquiries to all the local churches and nursing homes. ;)

I love these stories. I tend to study the high selling decks on ebay. Paying most attention to the types that I have. a3440 for $600+, Tascam 32 for $700+. Wow. You can learn a lot.

I do have a very nice a3440 that I sometimes want to sell to get enough for a 34b. But getting a nice enough 34b to make up for the loss of a very nice 3440 holds me back. (But $600 gould push me over!)

Almost no punctuation whatsoever, all caps, one big ass run-on sentence, and to top it all off, he bought a gas station, so therefore he has no spare time to record with it (hmm. OK)

interesting enough. Although I will never forget that loose pancake reel of tape that was on ebay, and as the photographs progressed, the pancake fell apart more and more. He was like, "Well, it fell apart more every time I moved it, but you can probably rewind it all up just fine. It's all there!"
