I hate spending more than $200 on ebay, always fear the burn.
I've been looking at these beauties since I got my 6120 and fell in love.
What a fine guitar, Bigsby hold's it's tune so well, the pickups are so round and smooth, flip a switch and they bite your head off. gigged it last night and it "rocked the town". Nice Japanese made guitar for about 40% of retail. Coulda been a nightmare...shcaweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet!

very nice! i've played several of those at my local axe shop and i've always been very impressed by them.

if you had to classify the tone in terms of les paul, strat, tele, hollowbody, etc., where would you say it ranks?

Pretty unique, the filtertrons don't sound like anything else. Musically it fits in lots of different places. Played some songs that i usually use my Lp on and it sounded different but covered the feel just fine. Probably most like a LP but definitely got it's own mojo.
