Easy - Lionel Richie cover

Just wanted to share this recording I did with my friend Mark. It's the first one I have done since upgrading my studio. It's a cover of Easy by Lionel Richie.

I think the mix is pretty good but I don't care for the busy drum pattern or the tone on the guitar solo.

My only suggestion is to drop all but one vocal on the verses.

It's hard for us to enjoy our own voices, but we need to learn.


You have a unique way of presenting that song. Enjoy your voice. Start dry and see how it goes. Then maybe add a little something to it.

Just my two cents (which are worth about 1.5 cents in Canada----or the other way around).
