I am a proud owner of one of the early flat tops now the model is an AC712

Mine is a smallbody OM with rosewood back and sides

Here is my thinking about them... They play great, sound amazing and cost a lot less than any guitar in its class!

They are hand made in a small factory and all the wood is hand carved.

You really can't complain about them for the money of the sound and playability.

I really want a 320B which is about the same as a D18 or closer to a Collings or Santa Cruz take on the same guitar.

All and all you can get an amazing guitar starting at around $1k

The archtop I played (don't remember the model) was well crafted and sounded and played great. The pickguard was mounted in such a way that care was needed when picking the high "E" string. That was my only complaint. The remedy would have been simple. All in all, I would consider one if I were in the market. Great value.

I got my hands on a proto El Ray they are really cool and have some amazing sustain... Seems like the peghead was really big though
