Early Dylan Recording Gear? Any Info? and ID this mic.

Taking the slow road
wondering how they got all those sounds on the early records. They sound chunky.

and what's this mic he's using here?

yea, but the half we did, he was singing great songs.

well, I'm gonna take a guess the since he was recording those first 2 discs in 1964 and 5 in large pro studios that he was using good stuff. Not being so contrversial there.... I'd say LDC or ribdon mics, expensive, vintage - of course by now they are - and very little eq, some compression, all I probably have to do is look up what was around then. 1176? Fairchild? some fat tape...
