Hi,

I don't which one to buy? I hope you guys can help me to choose.. I use it with Cubase SX, lots of VST's and I'm planning to buy a Digi 002. But now I just use a digital piano, a midi controller and a mic.

You could get the EmulatorX if want another synth sampler for a little more$

Oh but can you tell me the differences? I don't know which one to pick and why? I'm only looking for a good soundcard actually with good quality aswell as less latency!

Thanks

Do you want built in mic pres? Do you want ADAT? Well, the E-mu is your option.

If you don't need that, and you ever decide to switch to software using WDM, or you want to jump onto the gigasampler train, get the Delta.

These are two pretty different pieces of work.

Ok sorry but I didn't understand it that well :( Can you maby tell me which software uses WDM and what do mean with jumping onto the gigasampler train.

Sorry that I don't understand it, hope you can explain it to me!

Gigasampler is a popular program used to play sample libraries. It uses its own particular driver that E-mu doesn't support.

Most sequencers support ASIO drivers, which Cubase uses. E-mu (which supports ASIO) actually comes with Cubase bundled, so it's likely that it works fine. WDM is used by a few others, like Cool Edit, Adobe Audition, and Sonar 2 and earlier. The E-mu card doesn't work well with WDM apps, and judging by the recent driver development, they probably don't see a need to develop that part in their drivers.

The M-audio supports more in terms of its drivers, but physical outputs and sound quality, it isn't quite as good as the E-mu. Your choice. Support more software or need more ins and outs.

Ok thanks! I think I will go for the E-mu then. I only use Cubase Sx, Logic, Reason, and lots of vst's, most from Native Instruments? Is it then better that I go for the E-mu. I hope these programs will correspond well with the E-mu?

And when I'm going to buy other software, what do I have to ask? If it's compatible with ASIO-drivers? And if so, it will work fine with the E-mu, or am I wrong?

Thanks for the information.
