Duran Duran W/ Karma

Our band is thinking about doing the song "Rio" from Duran Duran and was wanting to know how to do that arp thing that the synth is doing in the background through out the song?

Annyone using thier KARMA for something like this? I know it was done originally on the ROLAND Jupiter 8.

If you use a sequencer live then I would find the closest sounding patch or create one that sounds close and then sequence it. I have covered this song in the past not on a Karma but on a Trinity and this worked well for me. Without a sequencer it could be difficult to pull off imho

Karma would be up to the job. Either create a GE for the Arp or RPPR/sequence (If you have a dedicated keyboard player use the GE option, or RPPR). Of course, to really lock into the Jupiter sound, consider the MOSS board expansion.

I will try to create a GE for the Arp. I will be playing and singing this at the same time.
