Here it goes ... I have a Zoom G7 guitar console with USB interface. I am looking at a temporary audio interface solution with a 2 channel USB interface.
Can both be used simultanteous for recording ?

that should work... but ultimately will come down to driver compatability issues i suspect...

Yep, the ASIO4all drivers do support multiple interfaces, the hardware shows up as 2 sound cards in windows. I tried something similar a few years ago, you might have problems keeping the interfaces synchronized, each one will be running on its own internal clock. Some higher end sound cards have sync cables that go from card to card specifically for this. IDK if newer hardware and asio drivers would have the same issues.

I've recently tried to get an Emu 1212m PCI and 0404USB to work simultaneously in ASIO mode using Asio4all, and failed miserably. The devices were still presented to my DAW, SONAR7, as two devices, and ASIO doesn't work with two devices.

The method I found to record from two devices was to route the 0404 via SPDIF to the 1212M, and record from the 1212M enabling analogue L and R channels plus SPDIF L and R channels. You may be able to do something similar yourself, using your onboard soundcard as the ASIO interface.
