Dumb Diffusers Q

I have a bunch of 1 1/2" roll insulation that i can use. Would it be a waste of time if I were to make diffusers with this? I see people using the owens corning 703, and I am sure it is better- but would this be an effective substitute?

You are confusing diffusors with absorbers. Diffusors are made of hard reflective material.
