Yowwee!

Jeez, these things are nice. At first, it's a bit like learning to drive a tractor trailer in reverse: once you back over the neighbor's bimmer everything else seems pretty easy.

I picked up a Matrox dual head card on ebay and found a used set of 17" monitors locally; fifty bucks in all. The coolest thing is that tracks can get dragged across both monitors and you end up with more data, not just the same stuff in a bigger picture.

Are there single and dual-head versions of the G400? I got one for my new computer and there isn't anything that indicates to me that it has dual-head capabilities. I got it at a discount online so it came without any packaging or manual or anything. I know that the dual-head function requires a break-out cable of sorts.

Any thoughts?

A dual head card will be obvious because it will have two interfaces on it. Some people report luck with double video cards, but I'm a computer no-geek and won't go down that road. Try this for information: Matrox.
