dual inputs?

Is there a way to record 2 seperate tracks simultaniously? The trouble I'm having is a way to record guitar and vocals at the same time but putting them on seperate tracks, Since the sound card only has one mic jack? I know the card has 3 jacks, one input one output and another that I haven't been able to finger out.
Often times I lilke to sing and play at the same time but I want to find a way to edit one or the other. I've tried several different set ups to accomplish this but with no luck. I have a Fostex 4 track recorder and a Peavy deltafex processor and use Acid Pro but also have Cakewalk but don't use it as much.
Sure would love some ideas, the cheaper the better .

Use left and right as channels 1 and 2. Just pan everthing hard left and right before going into the soundcard and assign the tracks in your recording software to the left and right input channels.

Indeed the only way to do it with out a new sound card is pan hard left and right that should do the job!
Rember to record to a stereo track tho and not a mono!

Oh yeah that means tracks 1 and 2 linked as stereo!
