I have one of the earlier models and it works ok for a cheap unit. I've heard the 2024 is pretty good. The comparison with a Pod is not valid - two different things.

Sorry to dig this one back up, but I am thinking of buying one of these. Why is it not comparable to the pod? They're both guitar effects procesors aren't they? I'm not being smarmy, I am just wondering. Thanks again

The POD is a guitar amp modeller whereas the Beh virtulizer is, I believe a signal processor or effects unit. True the POD also has effects but the POD is a guitar soundshaping, amplifier eliminating device. The Behrringer is for processing a signal with the intent of adding time based effects.
