Hi all, i have a terratec phase 28 and now i want upgrade my sistem with a dsp powered soundcard. I have find on this forum many good post on UAD-1 but i think that the UAD-1 Project PAK has few (but very good) fx. The other UAD models are too expensive for me.

So i have interest in the EMU 1212M or Creamware SCOPE Home and i don't know which is better for my purpose. Thay have more Fx and instruments than UAd.

I don't know how the 1212m plugins are accurate, i think that the Scope has better Fx but not the good preamp of the 1212m.

Any suggestion? UAD, SCOPE, 1212m?

Well the creamware is very nice but the I/O is limited. UAD and TC have no I/O, they are just DSP cards. The emu DSP is mediocre at best but has good I/O, so its up to you what your focus is on

I've just ordered the UAD-1 Flexi Pak. It comes with the same plugs as the Project Pak. It's $300 more expensive, but includes a voucher for $500 of plugs & you get to choose which ones you want
