Drums fixed hopefully

I've struggled with the drums for this piece since I wrote it. It's a medieval sort of sound and hard to nail down. A player in Australia gave it a go for me, but I mixed the tracks. I may have fallen on my face again. RAMI would know.

Yes, this song was passed on by TAXI. They gave it a 7 out of 10. The screener said why didn't I sound like David Curtis Chapman? If I could have replied to him, which we can't in TAXI, I would have said that I left my cookie cutter in my other pants.

I can't A/B with the other version, but the snare sounds a lot more crisp and present than on your other recordings that I remember. There's something weird in the hi-hat or stick sound...I can't explain it, but there seem to be random "clicks" or something here and there.

The snare in aprticular seems loud to me.
Are there accidental stick hits in the mix or something else?
Very good song and the drums have altered it to make it more human.
Still needs a tweak or two to get them to sit well in your terrific song though.
