does anyone know of a tutorial using ezdrummer's dfl with sonar 6? i can't figure out how to bring the dfl into the sonar where i can use it. i'm such a novice.

Have you gone to the support site for Toontrack-there is a FAQ section there..
I use Sonar LE for EZDrummer and I had to set up the program in the Cakewalk VST adapter-after that it worked fine.

I use ezdrummer, but I'm sure DFH works the same.
You need the VST wrapper mentioned above, then open the "Inserts" tab, scroll down to "Soft Synths" and click on that, which opens another menu.
Scroll down that menu to "Vst Plugins" and you should find DFH. Sonar loads DFH into the Synth Rack in the track you have selected. It should also add an audio track (or tracks if you have selected multiple audio outputs, at least EZ does).
